Honestly, It might've been a nice city given he had chosen to check it out any other time of the year, or any other day but it seemed as fate had given him quite the opportunity. Ignoring the flames, the explosion and the damage, the city had potential to be something quite spectacular and well organized, it had a different feel to other cities, yet had the same elements. Today though, wasn't the day to check it all out and see what it was about or just examine it for mission purposes, today had given him the chance to fight a warrior on Earth and he wasn't going to pass it up.

He hadn't been in the city long, maybe it was half hour at the most. He was observing how the city operated, where the busy sections were, where the run down areas had been. It had started out as just a simple observation in order to further understand Earth and it's people. He wanted to see what they reacted too and how they'd react to it. It didn't matter if it was petty crimes or something else completely, he needed to know.

The reason he needed to know, was that he wanted to understand how the people and the fighters of this planet would react to his plan, it would give him a general idea of what he'd be up against and how fast they'd arrive to try and stop him. So far, there was nothing that would indicate what he'd face because the fact of the matter was, he was currently one of the Earth's biggest threats, even if the planet hadn't quite been aware of that yet. Though surely, in time they would be.

The scene had went from rather peaceful and boring to loud in a second, Athren had rapidly turned his head in the direction of solid walls being crashed through, vehicles exploding, and just the sound of pure chaos. "That doesn't sound normal." He mumbled to himself as he heard the screams and shouts of the people as they tried to flee the area. At this point, he didn't want to make himself known, he didn't want his presence on Earth being on the radar of those who might protect the planet, but he did wish to investigate further. He hopped from rooftop to rooftop, he kept his power level down to ensure that he wouldn't be picked up by anybody or anything. As he neared the situation, he had finally had the chance to rest his eyes upon what was going on.

He watched as two fighters went at it in the heart of the city, they were very fast with their movements. He could easily sense the power level of one of the fighters and it was far above the average this planet had shown him so far, but for the male fighter, he couldn't pick it up at all. "That's.. rather strange." He arched a brow as he focused in and continued to observe the movements. In all honesty, he was hoping he'd get to see some techniques, he wanted to see what Earth's best could actually do, though it appeared they wouldn't come.

The fight had went airborne, though it didn't stay there for long. The blue haired woman had been beat down and sent right down to the concrete below. Dust had filled the air after the sound of the collision. Athren had watched as the fight was about to near it's conclusion. The man in question, the one he couldn't sense had formed a blue ki sphere in his hand, though there had still been no indicator of the fighters power level, it was something that he hadn't seen before. How could one use such abilities without raising their ki? It didn't make sense, and it sure as hell didn't add up.

It turned out there was one simple conclusion to find out what he'd be up against, surely if this guy could control his power to such a degree there was others on Earth that could as well. He simply wouldn't be able to afford not learning how strong it was, he would need to be prepared to fight something like him in a worst case scenario. He had to intervene, though he quickly devised a plan to keep him out of the spotlight.

For one, He couldn't keep the fight in the city. Whether it be cameras or the eyes of the innocent, he didn't want to be visible for long. He needed to take this out of the city quickly and luckily, the male had provided him with the perfect opportunity while he decided to make his attempt to deliver the finishing blow on the woman. It was at this point that he decided to act and get involved, though for his own selfish reasons.

It was almost instantly that his figure vanished from the nearby rooftop and appeared right beside the downed woman and the victor of their fight, it hadn't been a technique of any kind, he had just been that fast. His power level immediately rose to the maximum it would go without it's base and he stuck his right hand out, an orange Ki technique had formed in his right palm and he quickly swung it and forced it into the android's stomach before launching it. This technique wasn't at full power, it hadn't been meant to do any real damage. Simply force the android into the sky as far as the technique would take it.

The plan had worked and the android had found itself stuck on Athren's famous Nova Cannon. It was at this moment that his ocean blue eyes looked down at the woman, she was pretty roughed up but had seemed to be in alright shape. "I'll take it from here, just.. stay out of it from here on out." He said with a smirk before flying off after the android.

Now he needed to complete part two of his plan. The android had gotten loose from his attack but it was still above the city and Athren had every intention of getting it out of the city and on the ground. He didn't want to make it obvious, so he figured he'd have to bait the android.

Athren had simply flown straight at the android with everything he had, opening his arms he grabbed onto it and pushed it back towards the grasslands that hadn't been too far. His push didn't last too long, but it lasted long enough. The android had gripped onto the saiyan and spun him around, throwing him downwards and luckily, just outside of the city.
Before Athren had collided with the ground, he had caught himself with his ki and dropped to his feet.

His ocean blue eyes had locked onto the androids as it slowly descended towards the ground before him. Athren's heart began to race, adrenaline began to fuel his body. He took his fighting stance and prepared himself for a fight. "It isn't going to be so easy for you now." He stated in a tone of confidence, itching for the battle to begin.
